Magnolia
Magnolia is located on a peninsula to the west of Queen Anne Hill and south of Ballard, across the Ballard Locks. It is a very small town, with a concentration of professionals and young families, and boasting a low crime rate. Magnolia is a mix of expensive glass-fronted houses on the bluff and small, quaint bungalows.
Community events include Seafair's Magnolia Summer Festival in August, which features a juried art show, live stage entertainment, food vendors and a sidewalk sale. There is also a kids' parade and main parade on this same weekend.
